Mintel continues to grow at a fast pace and to support this continued growth we are looking for another Account Director to join our fantastically successful French sales team.  As the Account Director, you will lead business development and manage a portfolio of prestigious FMCG clients across France. You should have first class customer acquisition skills and account management skills, together with the discipline to manage the required sales activity in order to meet financial targets. You will be at ease presenting and negotiating with directors, supported with a strong empathy and understanding of their business objectives.

Key to success is having the right attitude, enthusiasm, ambition and a positive outlook should all be characteristics you cherish and display. Ideally, you will have completed a degree and have a minimum of 3 years marketing, sales or advertising agency experience. Experience in consulting, marketing or research services within the FMCG industries would be an advantage. Flexibility to travel to France on a regular basis for sales meetings is important. (8 travel days per month, making around 15 new business appointments).

 

Experience

  • Working with multinationals in a professional B2B and B2C sales environment, managing clients and winning new business
  • Sales experience – building the pipeline and managing the ‘end to end’ sales cycle
  • Presenting and gaining credibility within the client base
  • Experience managing accounts and developing new business as a ‘hybrid’ role
