With the continued growth and success of the Mintel, we are looking for an additional Account Director to help drive retention, upgrades and consultancy sales across the UK retail sector.
This exciting opportunity is for an accomplished, results-driven sales professional with plenty of energy and ambition. In addition to being an exceptional individual sales performer, the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be a team player that wants to maximize their OTE. You will also need to show evidence of excellent sales results and feel at ease speaking on the phone or face to face with senior decision-makers and business owners.
You will be expected to manage your own schedule and portfolio of 35-40 accounts, retail clients. You should be a good listener with the ability to ask the right questions to identify research needs and then advise on the appropriate Mintel solution.
·Minimum 3 years proven sales experience, with the freedom to travel extensively across the UK and a clean driving licence.
· Consultative and solution oriented selling approach
· Passion for selling within the Retail sector
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong business development background, with proven success in growing accounts, obtaining referrals, maximising identified leads, networking and enabling a high volume of well targeted meetings
· Highly polished, with the drive and interest to keep abreast with the core issues within the market
· Work as part of a fun, dynamic and successful team
· Degree educated with a strong interest in Marketing and Sales
