Accounts Payable Executive, APAC (6 months Contract)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform account payable activities (e.g. obtaining approvals on vendor invoices, key vendor invoices into the accounting system, prepare payments to vendors using electronic banking, key payments into the accounting system, etc.) for 5 entities in Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Australia, India;
  • Check & prepare payment for staff claims for 5 entities, and key payments into the accounting system;
  • Maintain vendor files for 5 entities;
  • Correspond with vendors/staff/agents and respond to inquiries for 5 entities;
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for 5 entities during month-end closing;
  • Prepare AP reconciliations for 5 entities during month-end closing;
  • Correspond with local consultants in Korea and India to close monthly book;
  • Extract actual vs budget costs for 3 cost centers (HR, IT, Insight & Sales) for 8 entities, and email them to budget holders after month-end closing;
  • Assist in ad-hoc tasks, e.g. opening bank account, etc.


Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or an equivalent professional certification
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience, particularly with the APAC region coverage
  • Experience in handling voluminous accounts would be advantageous
  • Possess sense of urgency and adaptability to changing environment
  • Meticulous and able to meet deadlines
  • Good team player, effective communication and interpersonal skills
