Comperemedia is the premier source for monitoring competitive intelligence on direct marketing.  We now seek a Junior Data Manager to maintain the integrity of our structured data.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and continually improve an existing taxonomy that is the foundation of the product
  • Work with the operations, quality assurance, IT and product development teams to identify and solve problems within the taxonomy
  • Initiate the data quality feedback loop so that all issues are corrected at the source in a timely manner and all stakeholders are aware of any issues.
  • Proactively strive to improve data quality and processes by sharing information with Quality Control, Product Development and IT teams, as needed
  • Work with the QA manager to roll out new information to the operations team
  • Create top line reports related to the taxonomy
  • Effectively document all data changes and updates


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in data management or data quality preferred
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Ability to evaluate and understand complex processes and workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to multi-task when necessary
  • Goal and deadline orientated
  • Demonstrated track record of dependability and reliability
  • Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Jira helpful, but not required
  • Professional attitude and approach
