We are looking for a bright, confident and dynamic marketer to manage the execution of Mintel’s marketing in Europe, to join the team for a 6 month contract.
Working within a creative, passionate and hardworking team this is an excellent short term opportunity that may turn into a permanent position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Marketing operations across events, trade shows and trade partnerships. They will also work closely with the PR, Digital and Design teams to meet objectives. They will also act as a point of contact between Sales and Marketing in Europe.
Experience of managing events and working in French is essential.
Areas of responsibility:
EVENT MANAGEMENT: 360 Management of events including all event planning, pre event communication, logistics and execution as well as post event campaigns.
EMAIL CAMPAIGNS: You will be creating and managing email campaigns, with a view to driving acquisition, engagement and advocacy.
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: Work with and act as a liaison to sales team in Europe. Manage all marketing deliverables and resources. Being part of the team, you will attend Sales briefings and regular meetings. Collaborate with Mintel’s analysts and dedicated Client Development Managers. Develop effective relationships with external partners.
SALES & PRODUCT SUPPORT: Develop relevant and targeted sales support, marketing and product literature.
MARKETING EFFECTIVNESS: Demonstrate and communicate what works, why it works and what can be done to improve.
Key skills and experience required:
You will be able to speak and write in French fluently. (This will be tested).
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in marketing, you will have bags of initiative and be able to instil confidence in senior commercial personnel.
You will have run and improved event execution previously.
You will have proficiency in email marketing. Having used an ESP.
You will be flexible with the ability to adapt and change at short notice.
You will possess strong communication and writing skills. You will be able to write compelling copy in English and French.
You will be creative and analytical. You will have developed executed and evaluated campaigns.
You will have strong commercial awareness.
You are able to work across teams with a variety of challenging stakeholders.
You will have good planning and organisational skills.
You will be results focused. You’ll able to get things done and done to deadlines.
