Building on its success, Mintel is currently seeking for an enthusiastic Senior Accountant with an extremely high attention to detail to join our Finance team in Asia Pacific, to be based in Mintel’s Singapore office.

  • Responsible for the General Ledger Accounting for APAC
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Responsible and ensure Intercompany transactions/recharges and reconciliations are in proper at all times
  • Prepare the monthly report pack for HQ
  • Responsible and maintain Fixed Asset Register
  • Create and monitor a system of controls and procedures for the recordation of fixed assets
  • Safeguarding and ensure all fixed assets within the Company are properly accounted for
  • Ensure proper adoption of Accounting Policies for acquisitions or disposals of Fixed Assets
  • Analyze financial information and produce analytical commentaries
  • Supervision, plan, assign and review AP accounting staffs’ work
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency
  • Ensure timeliness, accuracy and integrity in the monthly financial reports
  • In charge of all audit schedules and bank reconciliations
  • Work on the reconciliation between APAC system vs statutory accounts
  • Assist in annual global and statutory audit and tax
  • To assist in opening of bank accounts and corporate secretarial matters
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting system and procedures
  • Liaise with Auditors, Tax agents, corporate secretary and bank
  • Liaise with Financial Manager to improve financial procedure
  • Participate in ad hoc projects


  • Supports the SG Finance to report to UK in a timely and accurate manner
  • Propose areas of improvement

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • ACCA or Degree in Accounting & Finance related discipline
  • Handle full set of account experience with APAC coverage
  • Experience in consolidation is advantageous
  • Willingness to learn and progress upward
  • Attention to details and able to work independently
  • Possess professional analytical and communication skills
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet assigned deadlines in a fast pace working environment
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Positive attitude and willing to liaise with multiple stakeholders
